My current computer has 3 gig of Gskill memory with cas 9 timings. My wife for my birthday bought me 6 gig of Gskill memory with cas 7 timings. Is this going to great a conflict? I can put up links to the memory and the mobo if that will help.??

Any help is appreciated.

You could install the new modules and sell the old ones or run all 6 at CAS 9 timings. It should work if you're not overclocking and the voltage is the same. Out of curiosity, why didn't you give it a try?

There are a couple of reasons, why I didn't give it a try. The big one being, I knew there were far more knowledgeable people on these boards that could give me some guidance before I screwed things up.
