I have 4 year old desktop,psp800 asus motherboard and it has nvidia5600 is there a higher card that i can install, or do I need another Motherboard, I Have 1 gig 2.8 xp windows any help will great thank you Manuel Nashville tn
I think you meant P5P800. That is an AGP board. Check out the latest video card buying guide on this site (main page).
I would not spend very much money on an AGP card, it will have minimal return on investment. Others will say the same thing: your money is better spent on a new rig. It's more cost effective to get a new board (you could still keep the CPU you have if you stay on socket 775) and new RAM (4gb for $30)
Thanks i do e-mail lite stuff nothing heavy and would like to keep up with some modern games and the 5600 hundred barley runs anything out there, do i need to do the mother board and all new memory and new graphic card,
again thanks Sayfoo I better do something quick or I l really get confused.
modern games as in crysis or modern games as in HL2? the former = new system, the latter... well i would want a new system anyway but it should run source decentlyish
