Laptop finds the wireless network but will not connect. Time Warner put in a new wireless router and they can't get a connection either. I have updated the drivers from the Toshiba site to no avail

you might just need to power cycle the cable modem. Double check security settings. Does the new router have security on?

Seems more like an WIFI administrative issue - changing your system probably won't get you connected.
