Drivers for external dvd writer XP

Hello, after reinstalling windows my computer not detecting external DVD writer. how to get drives for external dvd writer the model i ave is sony drx-s70u.

This is USB or Firewire ? I use the Sony DR500LX on USB with XP and it just works without any special driver.
Presumably your other USB devices are working normally.
Maybe a firmware upgrade for the Sony. For that you'll probably have to dismantle the case and plug the drive into the disk connectors of a motherboard (of a desktop computer).
