there are two computers in my house and only the one down stairs is hooked up to the internet. want to set up a wireless network. can the downstairs computer be hooked directly to the wireless router to eliminate buying two wireless adapters? or will I have to buy an adapter for both computers? The downstars computer already has a linksys-B card in it, but I want to upgrade to a wireless-N router. the upstairs computer has no network card or adapter yet.

if ur going with a wireless N router, then i suggest that u get a wireless N addapter for both of the system (as long as u want both to be wireless),

although if u have a wireless adapter already for the downstairs system u could use that, as the wireless router is backwards compatible (but u wont get the 300mb\ps speeds)
