Au31 motherboard

I have an emachines T3065 with an au 31 motherboard . I would like to keep the case , but supercharge the computer . What would be an good upgrade motherboard for my emachine ? Somthing more modern that I can just take the old motherboard out , and install the new one without any modifications ? Somthing that could take 12 gigs of memory , and would run the newest intel type prossessors ? the supermotherboard for my desktop ?????? Thanks Noah

To upgrade that PC with a new motherboard that will run 12 gig of RAM, you will also be buying a new hard-drive, new power supply, new video card, new everything really. Just buy a new case that comes with a power supply, and get the rest of the components. Check out the system builder forums here for suggestions.
