I have a phenom II x2 550 no cores unlocked
my mobo is a ga ma 770t ud3p
4 mb of gskill ram
I adjusted the bios mutiplier to achieve 3.4 ghz
rebooted and cannot get past the first few lines of the post screen, thats where it is sitting now,as i am looking at it
Attemtped to get back to the bios but it will not let me

gotten it as far as posting the drives then a blank screen, but not bsod( not the blue screen)
should I try booting from the bios on my usb drive?

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? via hard reset

I think it's on page 42 of the manual and it should tell you how to do it if memory serves me right

Got it.
I cleared the cmos, rebooted, loaded the default bios.
It started up into windows
back to normal, now for a stress test!!!

And the hard boot idea

No prob glad to be able to help out....

Just another suggestion you may want to use the update tool (the one that can do it right in the OS) and flash the latest version of BIOS for you board (I always do when I am going to over clock)

Sorry for pointing you to the wrong page.

And I am Glad you got everything sorted...having a system not booting is a stressful event

Yes, VERY stressful.
I forgot to disable the cool and queit function, I think that did me in,
Doesnt seem to have done any damage to the mobo though.
