I would like to have a simple question answered that I've never thought to ask....

I have a socket 775 board with a E6750 installed..... If I wanted to go C2Q, can I just do a swap and BOOM! done? or would I have to make drastic changes?

Please list your board, you may not be able to, or it may just drop in and work fine, or you can but only after a BIOS update. This is why we need the motherboard specs (or just the manufacturer, and model number).

Convienently the latest review is from someone updating to 45nm Quad and having a few issues with the BIOS flash.

If you mean the DP35DP then this is the list of supported processors, just make sure you have at least the 0484 BIOS.

it is,
BOXDP35DPM is just the full model num. Thanks for the info, I'm goin to treat myself to a q9550 now!
