BIOS Corruption

Last response: in Overclocking
Share

Hello, I use AVG Free v9.0 anti virus and have an ABIT AL8-V motherboard with Pentium 4. I have just discovered that the Guru temperature settings were set to 255deg C. There have previously been problems when booting up as the Disk priority settings had been changed. 4Gbs RAM suggested by "Corsair" for this motherboard has been installed for over a year resulting in overclocking
Has anyone experienced anything like this please?

I don't understand. You're saying incompatibility between your components caused your motherboard's BIOS to start overclocking stuff all on its own? How exactly did this happen?
