I'm no expert but I hear lots of people have this board

I don't know your budget or features that you require (Crossfire, SLI, raid...) so I don't know how much you can afford or what type of board. If you need SLI you are going to need a Nvidia chipset. I like Gigabyte boards. I use a gigabyte board. If you don't like these try and find a board with a SB750 southbridge from a well known vendor (Gigabyte, Asus, maybe biostar don't know on biostar never used them though.) The SB750 were designed more for overclocking. Hope this helps.

I'm on a roughly $ 1000 budget, probably without sli or crossfire. I've been looking at that amd board and I think it fits pretty well with what I want. I am just waiting to see if amd comes out with any more phenom II am3 processors and how much that would cost me. Thanks a lot.

Just bought a GA-MA78GMH-US2H, working perfectly with my Phenom 920, and 4 gig of Crucial 1066 memory.
Dual booting XP and Windows 7.

Picked up all 3 at the Wilsonville, Oregon Frys last week for $313.
Processor $180
Motherboard $84
2x2 gig DDR2 1066 Crucial 7-7-7-24 $49 (With a $10 rebate that I tossed in the trash) guarenteed to run at DDR2 1200.
........and no sales tax in Oregon...joy-joy.
Reinstalled my trusty ol' BFG 8800GTS 512 OC.

So far I have pushed the Processor to 3.2ghz, without changing anything but the FSB. Everything is completely stable and behaving excellantly.
