Error insert disk in drive h

whenever i insert my 4 gb moserbaer pen drive in to my dell vostro a840 windows xp laptop , i get a message plz inset disk into drive h. i m not able to format it also .plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help

I suspect that it may have something to do with a driver. Try updating the driver for the pen drive from the maker's support site, specifically for windows xp. If that doesn't work, how long have you had the pen drive and when did this start?

MY PENDRIVE IS 1 YEAR OLD....THIS PROBLEM STARTED WHEN ONE OF MY FRNZ USED IT IN HIS LAPTOP WHICH I SUSPECT TO HAVE SOME VIRUS....MY PENDRIVE IS NOT WORKING ON ANY LAPTOP.I M REALLY PISSED OFF
