I have recently built this set up and just ran 3d mark and got these scores. How much more i could get out of it by overclocking it more. Much more. There is alot of headroom i have good Zalman 10 extreme cooler and couple of antec big boys to ram air into case. Is this score decent or should i push it more

Oh set up is Phenom II 955 at 3.4 ghz
Two Asus 4850 512mb at stock
4gb Kingston Hyper-X 1300 CL 7
Gigabyte MA790FXT-UD5P

SM 2.0 Score 7120
Hdr/SM3.0 Score 10349
CPU Score 4655

Your CPU score seems a little on the low side, but not much. I get about 4300 with my 710x3 at 3.4ghz. I mean, yours is higher than mine by a good margin, but I could have sworn I have seen quadcores at these speeds hit closer to 5k.

Small observation, and not really important in the scheme of things, just saying is all. ;)

Final score on 3d mark is 19299.

Also how much would it affect on score if i have clean install of windows?

I have Win 7 and all kinda carbage running on background.

Is that final score decent?

Also my cpu´s top heat with this cooler at this speed is 37. Should i crank it up a notch?

I been considering new case because my other gpu´s keeps heating 15 degrees more than the bottom one. Is this just a airflow issue or does it matter that gpu on top is 6 months older than other one. They are identical tho

Heat Rises. Unless you manage to run the equivelant of a tornado of airflow inside your case, this won't change.

OK now i hit the multiplier to 19 and changed cpu volts to 1.392. Heat goes to 41 on stress. Idles at 32.

And CPU Score went to 5380..

So i guess this is good OC for this one..

It's great that you didn't have to go up to 1.4375-1.45V to get 3.8ghz stable. You can probably hit 4.0 without even going past 1.5, like I do. Just make sure your load doesn't go past 55-60°C, if you ever decide to OC that high.

On this cooler, 29/52c idle load, but the memory was the limiting factor, and couldn't get more than 3-4min stress testing done before I would BSoD memory errors. I imagine it might settle in as high as 60c. At that clock I was running 1100+mhz, since I haven't been able to post with any setting of 3.33x, and was forced into trying to OC with 4.00x.

I bought new case HAF 932 just need to pick it up from post office..
Maybe the temps will drop little more if i get better temps then i will be going for the 4.0 but i guess this temp is not that bad either..
My old case is Nexus Breeze had to cut it pretty much to get all these coolers on it and the cpu cooler did not fit properly so the case was is a mess.

I really like this Zalman CNPS10X Extreme.
I also bought coolers for rams. I doubt that they are really needed but it looked nice (Hyper-X cooler).
Anyone use cooler for their rams?

And what comes to voltage this keeps stable without increase at 3.4

We've been pretty lucky weatherwise where I am, but NCIX runs out of vancouver, so a shipping delay coming out of there makes sense. It is actually in my city now, but it got bumped from the delivery route today, and won't be available for delivery/pick up until monday. Stupid Purolator... Delivering the Games, but not my kit.

Well its over half a meter snow here :) And today it was -23 celsius when i woke up.
And i ordered case and that cooler yesterday and today they are already at local post station :)

If weather is bad always people get used to it and stops complaining

Sorry it sounds bit hostile..

What i ment was that these services should work like Swiss clock who besides weather

But weather is always bad where i live so people are just used to it and still post runs like a clock.

And yes english is not my native language.

I understand jmk84, in my city, we routinely experience weather that shuts other canadian cities down, with national news stories on the plight of blah blah blah as they dig themselves out from under whatever wuss storm that comes by.

Got the Haf today temps with top radeon went down 10 degrees there is only little difference between them.
Cpu is staying the same as before. Only thing that sucks is that i bought that Hyper x cooler and it does fit my case because zalman is blocking it
Well maybe on some other build.
