PC does not recognize memory stick

Hello, I put my memory stick into a USB hub. The hub did not recognize the stick, but when I put the stick into the USB Port on my PC, the PC didn't recognize it either, can I reconnect to my memory stick?

I don't understand, you directly plugged the memory stick into your USB port? How is that possible?

In any case, I can only suggest you try another card reader. Or you can look for someone with a Sony device that supports memory sticks, and try reading your stick there to check if it still works.

I'm guessing this is a thumb drive.

You're saying it doesn't work either though the hub, or directly to the USB port, correct? Do you have another computer to try it on?

It could be just dead. Also what OS?
