as long as it doesn't go any higher than 85 celcius you should be in the safe zone.

85 isn't safe. You're already frying the chip. Don't get past 60 C at full load. If so, get a better cooler.

Dickcruz you must have gotten the best 630 of the lot. I do not know how you are running stable 3.5GHZ at 1.2v, but the 1.2v is the main reason your computer stays so cool. Most people will have to increase voltage to max safe limit 1.425 or even higher to reach that 3.5Ghz. I would love to see some pics of your specs, cpuz and prime running for an hour or so. And what HSF are you using? I might wanna try same set up if I can see proof it worked =).

Crap, dude :p  there's an extra 1 there and I did it a couple of times . na its a 1.375 and i have my nb overvolted to 1.2... something i have not downclocked my ht and my chipset is on auto but i reinstalled windows recently and reflashed my bios nowerdays my prime 95 fails after 4 hours but it doesnt crash, it gives me a rounding error.

luches,

I also have the Athlon II X4 620 at a 3.45 GHz (OC) with an Arctic Cooler Freezer Pro 7.2 cpu fan and an Antec Three Hundred Series case.

My max temp at 1.39v under 100% load is 51C.

btw

At 85C your processor will be like Kevin Bacon in Flatliners.
