This is nuts. I recently upgraded to a ATI 4870 1gb card from a 8800 GTS 640 mb card. Everything is great, I game at 1920 x 1200 all settings maxed as I did with my old card until newer games had some trouble keeping up. I play Cod 4, World in Conflict, Far Cry 2, Crysis Warhead and newer Demos like Left 4 dead all work perfect. But after I installed the new card and new drivers and removing everything I had nvidia related to my old card. Frontlines fuel of war keeps giving me "Frontlines has encountered a problem and needs to close" I have installed and reinstalled all the correct patches at least 5 times now. I even disabled services under msconfig like the kaos website says to do but it still does the same thing. Is Frontlines in love with Nvidia cards or what? The funny thing is the game did work for a couple days after reinstalling the first time but days later this happens again. The only thing I havent tried is installing a older ATI driver but not sure this would fix the issue, im thinking its a patch issue somewhere. Does anyone else have a problem with this game and have a newer ATI card? This was one of my fav games and now cant fix this issue and at a loss. Thanks for any input..

Try driver sweeper to remove driver remains when reinstalling drivers.

I did driver sweeper, and everything else, apps and every game works flawlessly. Only Frontlines no longer works, very strange!

Uninstall the game again. Clean it out of your registry ( regedit ). Disconnect from the internet. Go into the control panel and un-install your video card. Use drive cleaner. Restart. After your card is found by windows and says a problem occurred during install...... ignore it and install you video drivers. Restart. Install game. Go into the security section and deselect allowing to go on line. ( stay disconnected from the net) Don't patch the game. Try and play the game. If this is vista......... without a doubt, stay disconnected from the net, it totally ignores you and seeks out by itself. If this helps or not, let us know the solution if you find one.
