I'm building a new computer and I'm not sure if my power supply will work.

Power supply: Antec truepower TRIO 650 watt

Motherboard: EVGA nForce 750i SLI FTW Motherboard

CPU: Intel C2Q Q6700 2.66GHz OEM

RAM: 2 x 2 gig 800 mhz ram DDR2 (I can't remember the exact name)

Video Card: XFX GeForce 9800 GTX + Video Card Bundle - 512MB DDR3, PCI Express 2.0, SLI Ready, (Dual Link) Dual DVI, HDTV, VGA Support

Hard drive: Hitachi deskstar 1 TB harddrive

I also have a lightscribe writemaster

Will the power supply work? Thank you for your help.

Of course it'll work.. I've an antec true power 550W running a GTX 260 core 216 factory overclocked without any hassles..

For simplicity, you could also consider getting a single rail power supply (PC P&C or Corsair TX) instead of one with three rails.

Check out the red PC Power & Cooling 750W on Newegg at $80--best deal on right now.

If you're planning on SLI later, then get a 750W as that will have 4 PCIe connectors, just in case. The Antec Truepower Trio 650 only has 2 PCIe connectors.

Since you're a nVidia guy, check out the current deals on GTX 280--you might find a good "clear out" deal.

Most Seasonic oem's, the TPT included, do not have any Over Current Protection ( OCP ) on the virtual rails, making it a single rail psu.
