looks great. and no you can't get a better deal in socal than newegg. although best buy has some good prices on monitors from time to time. i got my 22" with hdmi port for only $200
The CPU cooler you choose (Freezer 64) is for AMD CPUs. The Freezer 7 Pro is the Intel version.
I've never used one, and I wouldn't, but Kingwin PSUs are alleged to be crap. Choose one from Antec, Corsair, PC Power & Cooling, Seasonic, OCZ, or Enermax. 550W-600W would be a good size for you.
If you buy a SATA optical drive, you won't need that wide, airflow-blocking IDE cable.

yeah the q9950 is good but the biostar mobo might not be the best choice if you want to OC i hear the gigabyte and other mobos are better but don't change the chipset...
