Quick question,

I tried connecting two monitors with my friends computer. He got old GPU which got one vga and one dvi connector. When i connect both monitors with those connectors, both monitors show identical screens.

how can i split screen on both so half of screen is on one monitor and other half is on another monitor?

thanks

Somewhere in the graphics settings is an option to "extend" the desktop vs "clone" which sounds like it is currently set to. It may be through the graphics card software or the windows controls, not 100% sure where though haven't messed with that in a while. It is only a settings issue so a little tinkering should get it working.

You need to get into the Nvidia control panel.
In Vista, right click on the desktop and select it.
In XP, I think you should see it in control panel.

Go to set up multiple displays. Choose the nView display mode to use.
You will want dualview, or configured independently of each other.
