8800GTS SLi or GTX 280 or HD4850 Crossfire? which would be faster gaming in general?
For $299 for 280 and $89 for 8800's - temp'd to get them all.

3870X2 for $79 there as well

anyone heard of manhattan speakers?
the 5.1 on that page for $29 looks interesting as well

I'd go with the HD 4850 Crossfire. It gets noticeably better performance than the GTX 280 in most games, and in this case costs about $60 less.

I would not get any of the other cards, as they are open box only (for those who haven't seen the link yet, the 4850 and GTX 280 are retail box, so no worries there).

was thinking that two - called them on the ultra, its not actually open box, said was samples provided for their own tech use that was needed (they said all the cards posted in that section are/was samples that was not needed so are offering them as specials) , also like that its tested card...

how about 8800Ultra SLi vs HD4850 CrossFire - which would be better/faster?

4850 cf probably would be slightly faster.

Damn that's still a good ass deal on the Ultra. Holy crap, $89 for performance very inline with the 4850. This would be a great upgrade for anyone using a 8800 Ultra already. I kind of wish I bought 2 of these and utilized my 680i SLI motherboard instead of having this 4850 in it.
