ok when i built my pc at Christmas i didn't realize i bought cheap motherboard risers. when i screwed them in they were cheap and broke. so there basically not in 100%. so only about 3 of them didn't break. i only have like 4/7 screws successfully in and the other 3 are loose / unstable . so its causing my rised screwes to rattle against the case whenever i boot up. ?( cpu fan causes vibration ) i dont know what to do! please help!

Remove the motherboard and install better posts. There really isn't much else that you can do. Honestly I've never seen posts break. What are yours made of?

4 of 7? There should be 9 standoffs. Maybe its time to visit your local PC repair shop.

Get nine (9) new brass standoffs and reinstall your board.
I am not sure what you mean by "cheap" risers. It is pretty hard to ruin the proper kind of standoffs like we are talking about. You are likely to strip out the holes in the case before you break a brass standoff. If you have done this, you need to get a new case. A lose motherboard rattleing around in the case is a disaster in the making.

I just had to order some online as it was impossible to find a matching set locally.
