Hey guys, I have a secondary hard-drive that was installed on my computer. It ran fine for well over a year and then all of a sudden, the computer froze. I removed the hard-drive and everything ran perfectly. Each time I have tried to install the hard-drive again the computer freezes at start-up. I really need some of the information that is installed on this hard-drive as it is my only copy (my mistake). I guess I was using it thinking the primary drive would be the one to go out. Any ideas or suggestion that would help while keeping me from losing my data would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks, Waylon

If it does not power up when You boot You have a pcb problem, if it does and halts on reading the ID, it might be heads or firmware. If it shows Id and does not want to boot windows You have problems with bad sectors and so on...
Hard drive model would be helpfull

It's a Seagate model number st3120026a. To my knowledge, I had not made any changes to my computer's software or hardware that would have had an adverse affect on it.
