question about flashing a VGA bios

ive got an MSI mother board (MSI P7N SLI Platinum ) and i am running a pair of XFX video cards. (
XFX PVT84JYDF3 GeForce 8600 GT 512MB)

i know i need to flash the VGA BIOS(s) but i have 2 quesions:

first, when flashing a VGA bios do i use a bios made by the motherboard manufacturer (MSI) or the video card manufacturer (XFX)?

second, since i am running 2 cards in SLI mode do i need to flash them both individually or simultaniously?

1. you flash a vdo card.. use vdo manufacturer. you flash the board, use the board manufacturer

2. when you flash there are parameters to do it both at once or one at a time. I suggest doing one at a time - incase u get a bad flash, you will still have one card to troubleshoot.
