I'm having trouble figuring out how to connect my Centurion 5 front panel connection to my Creative Xtreme Gamer's front panel connection.

My confusion is with the different standards for audio connectors. AC97, Intel HD, etc.

Which does my case have and which does my sound card require?

The manuals are no help, its not clearly communicated

From the Sound card's manual:

Quote :

Connection compatiblity
Intel HD Front Panel Audio standard only
Not compatible with AC97 or Intel-compatible HD Front Panel Audio

It seems to contradict itself?
