I just bought all the pieces to build a system.

MoBo = MSI K9N2 SLI Platinum Dual Core Cell

CPU = AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+

Video = EVGA GeForce 9800 GTX

RAM = OCZ Platinum 4gigs (2x2gig)

HD = SeaGate 250gig 7200 rpm 16mb cache.

I installed WoW and company of heroes I turned the resolution up a bit and it still runs these games slow at a frame rate of only between 10 and 20fps. Is there something I am missing or something I can do to get more out of this system?

Well I am trying to run these games in 1280x1024 which this setup should not have a problem with. The games seem to skip and stutter. I installed the drivers for the GPU I will check for newer ones though.

well there is definitely something wrong with ur rig...my rig is very similar (I got an HD 4850 and 2gb of ram) and i can turn up the settings on crysis and still get about 30 fps at 1920x1200...wow is not a very demanding game so u should be getting amazing fps on that...

What PSU are u using? your psu might not be providing enough juice to ur gpu...

I have a 650 watt power supply. It has two power lugs for PCI Express cards. My car has two power outlets. Should I plug in those two power connectors?

If your video card has connectors for pcie power, then of course you should plug them in. I'm surprised the card even runs without it. That's obviously the problem.

Holy crap that is amazing. I cannot believe I skipped over the second connector. I plugged it in and maxed everything out and I am now getting 70fps. Thank you all very very much.
