Okay since I'm new to all this OC'ing business I totally overlooked something and that is the CPU Power connector. Speaking from an Asus P6T perspective, it comes with a cover on 4 pins which means you might take it for granted that a 4 pin will suffice. However, after reading some posts about 8pin vs 4pin, you'd want to use all 8 pins for overclocking.

Now, has that make a difference on my overclocks? Not sure yet, I was however, able to boot into windows and run prime95 with just 1.31 vcore opposed to the 1.34 I had before @ 4ghz.

Nevertheless, don't forget to check the CPU connector, it might be a noobie mistake but hey, live and learn.

Nothing yet. I thought I would be able to get a more stable clock since I need really high voltages to remain stable at 4 ghz. But I guess it's better than not having it plugged in :).

1.35 Vcore @ 4 ghz.. I can't get it any lower with my 920 D0. Basically I started with Vcore @ 1.33, QPI/Dram: 1.375 and was able to Prime for a few minutes. Went to Vcore @ 1.34 and Prime'd for nearly 5 or so hours but crashed. Tried reducing the QPI due to error 124 but the lower I get, the faster I crash in Prime so I left is at 1.375 and dare not go any higher.

Now I'm at 1.35 @ 4 ghz and gonna see how this goes. My temps aren't looking too good either, max at 81 and usually around the 79-80 range. My ambient is 25 celcius.
