Dear Huntluck,

I have a new samsung HD322HJ sata disk drive.
Trying to perform a clean install of Windows XP.
I have downloaded drivers from Intel, Gateway, and VIA.
Intel has not been able to indentify my motherboard....yet.

Gateway says that I may need the re-install cd from them.

I would like to gather the correct drivers and try to solve this in my office.

I appreciate any and all help. (nettech1@hcnv.us)

Huntluck,
I appreciate your help.
Any suggestions on gathering a complete set of drivers ?
I mean, does it hurt to gather and load too many drivers in the initial setup ?

Huntluck,
I agree, Gateway's do suck. Someone in my company got permission to buy one for thier office. (yawn) (dam it)
Checking on sites....
What do you think about a driver CD from a late model Dell ? Wouldn't it have the most recent drivers for it's own Intel board ? It might have the SATA drivers ?
What do you think ?
