Hello again,

Here is yet another post asking for advice on a new build. Ok here is what I am looking at so far:

CPU- Core 2 E7200- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115052 Plan on Overclocking

Video Card- Radeon HD 4850- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161235 I plan on using Rivatuner to tweak fan speeds

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-EP35-DS3L- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128337 This board looked like a decent Overclocker...

PSU- BFG Tech 550W- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817702010 This PSU looked decent but I am not sure how much room it will give for Overclocking

Hard Drive- Western Digital- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136073

Ram- G.Skill 2GB (2x1GB)- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231098

Optical Drive- Asus- http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16827135156

I have an old computer case that I will mod so that everything will fit.

Grand Total without rebates- $592.25 With rebates- $552.25

My budget is a max of around $800-$850

Here are my questions:

1. Will that motherboard get me up to 3.4-3.6 Ghz? I plan on getting a better cooler for the CPU later on

2. Will that Ram hold me back any in Overclocking?

3. Is that PSU good enough?

4. Is there anything else I am missing? I will get the OS somewhere else and the monitor as well.

I was going to buy a system from Dell but I think It will be worth it to build my own.

Any relevant suggestions or comments are welcome!

Thanks!

P.S. And yes I am a noob to overclocking

This isn't a bad deal for RAM either:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820145184
45 bucks after rebate
Also I believe this RAM comes with a combo deal with the E8400, which is allegedly almost made for overclocking (heard it stays cool overclocked even with stock cooler). I'm not really the best guy to get advice from, since I have my own list still on this forum un-bought, so you might want to wait till someone confirms my suggestions to be valid.
Also I don't know if you still get the rebates if you go for the combo deal. I should look it up but if anyone already knows, shed some light.

edit. I clicked "buy this combo now" and the rebate came up in the math. -10 dollars if u get the E8400 -25 dollar rebate for the mem:

From what I read in the spec sheets the WD has faster access and write times....

Which one would be faster?

Here is my updated list:

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819115052 This Combos with the Motherboard

Motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128359 Combo

PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371015

The rest is still the same...
