4870x2 performance on a P5Q Pro

I just wanted to know if the radeon hd4870x2 will run full speed on on the P5Q pro's one 16x pcie slot even if it only runs crossfire at 8x/8x.

it will run at 16x.

+1. The crossfire is internal and is not affected by the motherboard (unless you only have PCI-E @ 8x or less.)
