OK, the HDD is fine, but, think about getting a second cheaper HDD for storage, 300GB is not that much.

GPU: that will work :D

about the memories, if you are running a 32 bit system you won't be able to get all out the 4 GB's, so get a 64-bit system if you can!
Motherboard OK

Cooler OK

PSU: OK

CPU: The E8600 is in my opinion heavily overpriced, think of a E8500 which is much cheaper and of course a little slower, or a quad, you can for example get the Q9450 for aproximately the same amount of money...

Don't get a Rosewill powersupply when you're putting those kind of parts in your computer...

Go with PC Power & Cooling, Corsair, Seasonic, Antec, Silverstone. Something from them would probably be your best bet. I'd go with a Corsair 1000HX if I were you, because judging from your part selection, you want expandability. If you don't want to drop that kind of money on a power supply, a Corsair 750TX would be just fine too. DON'T SKIMP ON THE POWER SUPPLY!!!!

Hi titdoctor;

- Firstly what screen size are you planning on using? You may be overkilling on the graphics.

- P45 is cheaper than X48, you will see a small (5%) improvement when you xfire using X48, but only at very high resolutions. At 22/24" it's a negligable difference.

- Are you planning a massive overclock? If not then stick with 4 or 8Gb of DDR800 ram. For 3.5Gb+ you will also need a 64bit OS.

- Go either E8500 or Qxxxx. E8600 is too expensive for the performance gain over E8500. Duals are generally faster for gaming (generally!!), but from a system perspective a quad at the same price point comes out almost identical.
- If you are overclocking use an Xigmatek or OCZ vendetta cooler, the Xigmatek retention brackets make them easier to fit.

- NO ROSEWILL!!!! List above is good. 1kW is overkill, you could probably run 2x 4870X2 on something smaller.

Hope that is useful
