I just upgraded my PC ( complete reinstall actually ) from w2k to XPHome.

I finally got around to reinstalling the Palm Desktop.

When I tried to hotsync my Palm Zire 21 it reported

"The communication between your computer and the desktop could not be
established. Please check your setup and try again".

I am an adminstrator on my machine.

What can I do?

Make sure that the correct connection type is set in the HotSync
