is the AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz Socket AM2 89W Dual-Core Processor Model ADA6000CZBOX - Retail http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6819103233 a POS CPU? i saw the AMD Phenom 9600 Agena 2.3GHz Cache 2MB L3 Cache 95W Quad-Core but the review that said "Cons: bsod every time. If you buy this processor, don't pair it with vista 64 bit edition. I spent 3 days trying to load vista 64 only to get "a clock inturrupt was not received on a secondary processor within the allocated time interval." blue screen of death clock interrrupt stop error constantly. sometimes when just booted, sometimes took 2-5 minutes, but every time." scared me off. also for added bonus the athlon 64 x2 6000+ had a $10 off promo so its realy $82. Also the min power for the ati 4850 is 450 watt. shoud i get a PSU that is that just scraping the bottem? also is there much of a dif from ddr2800 and 1066 for vid game speed wise? keep in mind ill be using VERY momory intensive games such as MMO's. whats your thoughts?

ok so the 6000+ make sense in your case and it is a good cpu
i think the corsair is a very good power supply those recommendations are for a psu with maybe not so great quality, the 450vx can handle thatt system fine
as for memory there is nearly no difference unless you are planning a fairly hefty overclock
