hi i hope smoe one out there can help. im new to this and i just want to know if any one has the same setup?

windows 7 64bit ult
i have a q6600 still at 2.4
xfx 780i 3way sli
gtx260 just the one at the min
ocz nvidia pc2 6400 2 2gb at 800sli and have 2 1gb sli when all 6gb in shows at 667
750w psu
big water cooler

i am trying to get my cpu to 3giz but hangs up just after i log in to windows(show up in bios as 333fsb cpu is at 3.0hs
i just want to know if to run the ram in sli or not at all? can anyone help with trying to get the right settings

is it best to have the full 6gb in or just have 4gb in sli??

I think you may be inadvertently overclocking your memory.

Before you start overclocking, adjust your memory clock to 533 Mhz. That will give you a 1:1 CPU:FSB ratio. At that point, start raising the FSB and adjust the memory clock to stay at twice the FSB frequency. You should be able to run at 3.0 GHz with little or no CPU core voltage increase.
