Unable to find drive!

Hello,
I have used my Maxtor One Touch 1000GB several times before but when i connected to a notebook the device is showing the blinking light but there is no drive found in My Computer. Please help me out of this. Thanks.

Likely your USB port doesn't give enough power, this might help
