Clear icons on desktop

Hello,
I have tried everything, nothing works.Help

Do you mean delete them or hide them? To delete them, just select the icon and press your delete key. Windows will ask if you want to remove it.

If you want to hide it, right click an empty spot on yor desktop, right click and select properties. On the desktop tab click "customize desktop". Now check "cleanup desktop every 60 days" and also click "clean desktop now".

Would help if you list what "everything" is so we don't suggest things you tried. Everything is pretty inclusive, does not leave much room for anyone else to have anything new to try.
