I7 920 at 86 degrees

I'm new to overclocking, and i gave it a try yesterday.
I got my i7 920 to 3,3ghz on a stock cooling, now im kinda worried about the temp. It went to 86 degrees at 100 load, checking with Real Temp.
I'd like to know if this is fine? or if i should downclock/ buy a new cooler.

  1. The stock cooler sucks nutz, you want a very decent aftermarket cooler for a ci7 920

86C is to hot!, you want to stay below 73C, If I were you I'd back done the overclock until you have a aftermarket cooler.
  2. Definitely too hot. You want to get an aftermarket cooler before you overclock. Back off the overclock and get an aftermarket before overclocking again.
  3. 86 C is too hot.

These work well and are inexpensive:
