i will build a cpu... i got 2 option....

option 1 using amd processor:
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 x2 5600
Mobo : Emaxx 790GTX
Memory : KIngston 2gb/800MHz
Optical : 22x DVD/RW w/ sata(any brand)
HDD : 250 GB SATA(any brand)
Casing : 500 Watts power supply

Here's my question:
1. Is HD3300(build in video card in the mobo) is enough to play some latest games? Ex. Crysis, Farcry 2, dead space, left 4 dead or call of duty 5? Or instead of 790GTX do i need to use ECS A8200GM??
2. Or Do i need to buy a extra video cardinstead of using build in video card of the mobo??
3. Do i need to buy extra cooling system for AMD processor???

Option 2 using intel processor:
Processor : As much possible I want to use my old Pentium D 925+
Dual Core 3GHz/800MHz or E7200
Mobo : Emaxx P35-PRO(for my old Processor) or Emaxx P45
Memory : KIngston 2gb/800MHz
ViideoCard: Nvidia 9600GT Super + 1Gb or 512MB 128bit/DDR2
Optical : 22x DVD/RW w/ sata(any brand)
HDD : 250 GB SATA(any brand)
Casing : 500 Watts power supply

what do you think on my old processor, can my old processor handle the whole system??????

oh good lord....
No you cant play Crysis on an intergrated chip, its never going to happen. Same for the rest.

Out of the 2 options i would say option 2, but they are both incapable of playing the above games well.
Whats your budget? We can see about an option 3 :D

jhojo26 its not so much incompatability, its more a case of you wanting to play the latest most demanding games on 2-3 year old hardware. So its just a lack of power.

What do you already own? I can see your current proc / mobo, is that Kingston RAM yours as well? And you are currently not using a graphics card?
List your Case, PSU, any HDD's, Optical drives, cooling as well plx

jj463rd yah that's the mobo.. what is the diff. of nvidia to ati??? in terms of quality or anything??

pr2thej here is my current computer spec:
intel pentium d dual core 3Gb/800MHz
ecs p4m800pto-m3(agp slot)
kingston 1gb/533Mhz
Samsung DVD/RW 18x
Samsung 320Gb/sata
Geforce fx5500 256MB/128 bit
400watts power supply

can you give a spec. that the price is ~$350 to $450???

ECS ... chuckle.

Get youself an Asus P5 and an E8200 or higher CPU and a couple of gigs of ram with a 4850 graphics card.

Buy budget ram and a case with a 450W PSU.

Don't buy crap mobos.

That should be able to play crysis in a reasonable res with some of the eye candy off ... and not break the bank.

I am not google so I don't do prices ...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.153375 Mobo and CPU $133 can o/c to 3.4 or so

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231122
Good 4GB RAM $50 with a $10 MIR

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130380
$130 with a $15 MIR

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.151549 Nice PSU / Case combo for $125 the PSU is very good and will allow you to upgrade.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835100007
AS5 $6

Total $444 minus $25 MIR = 419

Keep the Optical, and HDD....add a Seagate 500GB if you wish. You wont max the above games, but they will defo be very playable.
Any spare cash you can put towards a front fan for the Antec 300 case / gaming keys and mouse / Vista 64bit. Take your pick :D

pretty good oc'ing chip.

I prefer ocz but these arent bad.

so your looking at $467 - $25 in MIR

go get a good xigmatek cooler to help oc'ing and a couple scythe fans 120x28mm i think. or a little more skinny in width.

pfff AMD has the faster stock dual (your talking OCing, OP is talking playing Crysis on intergrated chip!), more capable GPU and cheaper. Well...the gap is about the HDD cost ofc but even so im sticking to my guns.

Would agree on Vista x64 but as this is budget im sure the OP can suffer with his current OS for a few months :)

actually I've heard you can run crysis with hybrid crossfireX. Get a 790gx mobo and a hd 3450 i think.

I'd go with pr2thej's build except I'd get a HD 4830 instead of the 9800gt in case he wants to go crossfire in the future.

Many Thanks to all!!! for giving me idea and spec. I will review all the parts for the mean time. by the way my location is in the Philippines. i just post here bec. i know you are a head interms of technology... some parts that you mentioned are not available here and some are too expensive but i will try to check it.

by the way shadow 70379 i want to build a light gaming platform and upgrade it if possible to hardcore gaming platform (if there's enough money and available spare here).

i'd like the spec given by fullmetall and pr2thej thanks guy's.

Similar.
As a % the e5200 overclocks more but as it has a lower stock speed this evens out...both chips should get 3.4 with no probs.
