Hello,
I have never had this problem before. When i unzip, then drag the font in the font folder, it doesn't show up in Word or any other programs I try to use. Please help!

All fonts must be registered in Windows.

Go to the fonts folder in control panel; Start>Settings>Control Panel>Fonts

Click the "File" at the top left corner, select "Install new font"

Browse to where you stored the font and also select to have the font copied to the fonts folder if it is anywhere else in your hard drive instead of the fonts folder.

Click Ok as needed etc...

Are you certain you went to the correct place in control panel?

Ok, here is another way to do it....

Click Start, and then click Run.
Type the following command, and then click OK:
%windir%\fonts
On the File menu, click Install New Font.
In the Drives box, click the drive that contains the font that you want to add.

Note The floppy disk drive is typically drive A or drive B. The CD drive is typically drive D.
In the Folders box, click the folder that contains the font that you want to add, and then click OK.
In the List of fonts box, click the font that you want to add. To select more than one font at a time, press and hold the CTRL key while you select each font.
Click to select the Copy Fonts To Fonts Folder check box. The new font is saved in the Windows\Fonts folder.
Click OK.

The same thing happened when I got to fonts. There is no option to install new fonts. I know I'm in the right place because I've been installing new fonts for years. I had a virus and took my computer in to be repaired. Could this have caused any problems like this?

For that question, it's going to be the age-old answer... "It depends on what virus you had." Sorry.

Next thing I'd try is system file checker to see if somethings corrupt or missing.

You'll need the XP CD for this...

Start>Run>SFC /scannow
