hmmmm how to explain this... i used gigabytes "face wizard" to upload an alternate image to my bios i got a few errors and being the moron i am i didn't re write it
no i have no bios nothing at all i hit the power button and it just sits there it doesn't put anything out to the screen just sits there the onboard debug reads extending the bios to the dram how do i fix this PLEASE

p.s. i have a busted gpu its getting replaced tomorrow corrupted memory

You should be able to buy a new BIOS chip from Gigabyte or an independent shop like MR BIOS.

Your BIOS chip is corrupt. Unless your MB has a "backup BIOS" or other such recovery feature, you'll need a working system to reprogram your BIOS chip.

Agreed - if you have no way to enter the BIOS, how can you fix it? You either need a backup to fix it, or will need a new chip.

ive got I BELIEVE a new bios on floppys i also have a MS-DOS boot disk however im not sure if the FDD works... at all... as i have the floppy in and i hit the power yet nothing i keep hearing like a clicking sound??


ive removed the bios battery...as best as i can gigabyted design on this board SUCKS would not recommend it.. as the bios battery is stashed underneath the copper heat pipes
