so i just bought a super baller 750W PSU and put it in my computer. everything was fine until a couple days ago; when i booted it up the entire upstairs lost power. my case would light up and then immediately turn off due the the fact that there was no more power. i have to reset the breaker each time and now it happens more and more frequently.

a) why would this be?

b) would this be bad for my computer?

Thanks

Rosewill PSU's have had some quality issues in the past. The >600w PSU's I think have a been a bit better, but your problem sounds like a bad PSU. Is there another PSU that you could put into your system and check to see if that is the problem?? If you could list your specifications too, it'll make troubleshooting a bit easier.

i just told my landlord to rewire the upstairs electric and now its fine...

i think it was the fact that my computer is worth more than the house im living in and the house couldn't handle the awesome. i was just setting off the breaker each time i booted becuase it was such a sudden change in voltage.
