Forum Overclocking : Memory Asus P6T Deluxe RAM OC

Ok so I have an i7 950 an ASUS P6T Deluxe v2 and 6gb of corsair Dominator RAM rated at 1600mhz. Ok so Overclocking with i7s is a lil different then with the core 2 series. I have done my research and I feel like I know pretty much what this is all about. I am able to oc my 950 to 4ghz with a BCLK of 167 and a vcore of 1.23 (its been stable for months now) the only settings i touched were ram speed bclk and vcore. The weird part is the RAM.. I kinda gave up on this earlier and now i decided to come back to it. When the BCLK is at the stock 133 there is an option in the bios to set the ram speed to 1600mhz...all good and dandy works great at stock settings. But now when I up the BCLK the only setting that I can put my RAM at is 1339mhz....all of the other settings cause it to shut down for a sec then reboot saying overclocking failed. I did the math and the ram had a 12x multiplier when it was at a BCLK of 133. So in theory if i multiply 167 by 12 i get 2009mhz. Which is a setting in the BIOS but every time i set the ram to that it does the same damn thing that it does on any other setting besides 1339mhz. I have also tried the XMP setting too to the same effect...Any one who has any experience with this board and ram combo have issues or any ideas to get my ram at least running at 1600mhz or above because i know that ram can run higher. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...Thanks

Will this be a good build to overclock 2500k to 5.0GHz?

I'm the one that told him that a Silver Arrow will get to 5Ghz, so I'll take the blame...
