I am shopping for a new lcd( 22" ) for my room. And I am little afraid of the glossy screen and their glare effect. I know if I see reflections it will really bug me.

So what about the glossy screens? You get used to it? Or is it not reflective as I might think?

What is your experience with monitors glossy or non glossy?

Glossy will make the screen appear to have richer colors but will reflect just about everything.
If your room has lots of windows or lights, you will have to work through quite a bit of glare.
Personally, I like matte displays.

Yeah, personally I like matte finishes.

However, the LCD HDTV I will be buying has a glossy finish.
