I have a Abit av8 with the latest bios
Seagate 200gb Serial ata
wd 200gb Serial ata
2 gig value ram
dvd
cd
here is the deal I was dual booting windows xp 32 bit and win 7 64 bit
I would just go into the bios and in advanced features select hard disk boot priority and there would be a list
1) bootable add-in device
2) wd drive
3)seagate drive
well I disconnected the xp drive when I changed the other drive from win 7 64 bit to win 7 32 bit and now when I go to hard disk boot priority I just see the bootable add-in device I remember the first time I had to do a scan somewhere to get the 2 sata drives listed but forget where I did it does anyone know?

You might have more luck asking Abit mobo users

you probably are missing the boot.ini file which is lokated in c: drive, once removed u will not be able to boot, further setting up windows with 2 drives the second drive depends on the main [c:] in order to boot,
