I bought a desktop pc a month or so ago. All i needed was one to run a couple of games. But now im looking to upgrade, and one of my upgrades will be this, http://www.thenerds.net/EVGA.EVGA_e_GeForce_8800GTS_SSC_Edition_Graphics_Card_nVIDIA_GeForce_8800_GTS_576MHz_640MB_GD.640P2N829A3.html?affid=1&affid=2&srccode=cii_5784816&cpncode=17-22669697-2 or something very similar. So my question is, can a power supply that is 300W, maintain a newer gaming type graphics card, so i'll be getting the full potential out of it? Or do i need to upgrade my power supply as well.

Sorry for the long post, I just don't want to make any mistakes.

PCI Express-compliant motherboard with one vacant PCI Express x16 slot
425W PCI Express-compliant system power supply with a combined 12V current rating of 28A or more
One 6Pin PCI Express supplementary power connector

get this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143154

and this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817103012

I have this setup and it works just fine I get what I am supposed to be getting on 3Dmark because it has enough amperage on the 12V rail.

350w is sufficient enough power to use this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814143154?

I thought you said it needed to be 450W, the PSU you linked is 350.
