Welcome to the forums!

I recommend P5kpl-cm.
Better chipset at that price point.

I mean is it good for gaming when compare to p5kplvm? I know it is a better overclocker but what about system performance in general(like booting and installing windows etc)

CM has High valued performance with FSB1600 support

VM is latest 45nm Processor Ready!

Your choice here. 45 nm processors upgradeability is an advantage if you think you might get a new processor.
