CPU - E1200 1.6 GHZ DUAL CORE [at the moment because I do not have delivered a 2.93 GHz QX6800 already purchased this]

Board - Asus Maximus II Formula
Reports - 4GB Corsair Dominator 1066 mhz. 8500
GPU - ATI Sapphire HD 4870 512 MB Readon.
PS - ZU Zulmax - 650W
HD - Western Digital 80 gb Raptor 10,000 rpm
OS - Vista Ultimate 32 bit
Cooler - Scythe Infinity

My problem is that the system can not start with 3 or 4 gb RAM and tells me DET RAM . Just start with 2 GB, OS is 32 bit but this should not be a problem for the system to start but not detect 4 gb. I would appreciate help to solve this problem.

read on the forum that a BIOS update I did not solve the problem. The problem is solved by a configuration in the BIOS. If anyone knows I would appreciate the help.

memory remapping in the BIOS [ENABLE]

Did you disable it to see if it resolves your issue?

That setting makes no difference on my P5Q Deluxe, but your motherboard might be different. I also use 8 GB of 800 MHz memory instead of 4 GB of 1066 MHz memory.

Memory remapping won't resolve a no-boot issue. However, it must be enabled to address more than 3 gig of installed memory. Most modern boards will enable this feature automatically. It is easy to tell.....at bootup it will count all 4 gig of memory if the feature is enabled. If not, it will only count up to 3 gig. I have a feeling a lot of people think this is the OS being 32 bit...but at boot up, it has nothing to do with the OS.....yet.
Anyway...your 1066 memory modules technically are overclocked memory. Boot with 1 or 2 of them, check to make sure the voltage is running at what is supposed to be, this is almost always the problem, most boards by default will set memory voltage only to 1.8 or 1.9 volts, and many 1066 sticks require 2.0-2.3 volts. And some require even more, like an extra .3-.5 volts to get all 4 sticks to work.

I used to have the same problem with 4x1 gb Corsair XMS and my board is the old Gigabyte P965 S3. What i did is like jitpublisher said, I tried to increase Ram voltage by 2.0 volts (my memory is rated 1.9 volts), That did not solve the problem but i add voltage to FSB and North bridge by .1 each and I got them to work all 4 sticks with vista 32 bit, its even running in tight settings. Hope this would help u.
