I am planning to get an ati hd 4000 something, and was wondering is if should buy a expensive one or just oc a not so good one.
So, does overclocking void video card warranty?

depends on the brand for example evga doesnt mind if you oc at all.

^+1. But only if you tell them you OCed or do a BIOS mod :P. They won't know if you use Windows based tools to OC. Also OCing can only take a cr@ppy low quality card only so much.
