Hello everyone, sorry if this is against the rules, I did a quick check and didn't see anything.
I am looking to purchase a 1tb external hard drive. I will be using it with both my desktop and my laptop (which doesn't have esata unfortunately), so I need one that has a usb connection.
I have done a lot of looking around and have seen that there are a lot of sub-$100 options out there and that is the amount I would like to limit my budget to.
The biggest thing is reliability/warranty, I am in college so any extra cost down the road is a major negative. After that, the only thing I am concerned about it speed and usability. I have no problem with how it looks or how loud/power hungry it is, so long as it is fast and usable.
