Fuzzy/unreadable TV when I connect to PV

Hi people, i CONNECTED MY VISTA TO MY FRIENDS WIDE TV using a small connector,( about the size of the old modems). The directions say no driver is needed but I can't read the font to setup for him. Of course it's Vista so going by the icons isn't much help. I've never hooked a PC to a TV before. Vista is using generic plug n play driver (at least I could get that far working blind! lol. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Josh

Have you tried changing the resolution on the TV? It sounds like you're not using the recommended resolution for your TV.

Thanx Wolf. I think U hit the nail on head. The Guys at bestbuy said the 5 year old tv may not handle it (resolution). They suggested I try a newer cable, I think it was HDMI. If it doesn't help I can get a full refund. I apprciated ur quick responce. U sent me in the right direction.
