Hard disk not detected

Hello,
My 2nd hard disk of 80gb is not detected in my computer window.Kindly give me some tips to resolve this problem.

Pls give me some question

1) what is the connectivity of the HDD ::; IDE or SATA?if IDE then pls confirm ur second HDD by gap by pin arrangement.

2) Be sure that there is no loose contact.

3)ther is no corrosion gap

4)rpm of HDD run properly.

be sure the external EMF ,generally by yellow wire, connected properly; usually outside direction of the HDD of connectivity jack.
