I'm going to get the Phenom II x3 720 BE. I plan to overclock the chip to around 3.5 using Amd Overdrive. I've read mixed comments on the requirements for the southbridge. Can I use a sb700 southbridge or must it be a sb750 soutbridge? Does anyone have hands-on experience with this? At my local shop sb750 boards are about $100 more than sb700 boards. I want to stick with an sb700 board so long as it can do a stable overclock around 3.5. The system will be oc'ed while gaming and then changed back after. Must I get a sb750 soutbridge or will this work on a 770 board that has a sb700 soutbridge.
